What is Image Rotate?
Image Rotate turns an image by 90, 180, 270 degrees, or any custom angle. Useful for fixing photos taken in the wrong orientation, or preparing artwork.
How to use Image Rotate
- Drop one or more images.
- Pick a fixed angle or set a custom value.
- Click "Rotate".
- Download the rotated images.
Why use AinnoBox for this
- Custom angles handle the case fixed presets cannot — straightening a horizon that is three degrees off, not just turning a portrait shot upright.
- Right-angle rotations map pixels one-to-one onto the new canvas, so a 90-degree turn costs no sharpness at all.
- Batch rotation fixes a whole folder of sideways scans in one pass instead of one file at a time.
- Orientation problems usually show up on scans of personal paperwork; rotating locally keeps those documents off the network.
- Free, unlimited, no sign-up and no watermark on the result.
Image Rotate — frequently asked questions
- Why is my photo sideways in one app but upright in another?
- Cameras often store the picture in one orientation plus an EXIF flag saying how to display it. Apps that ignore the flag show it sideways. Rotating here bakes the correct orientation into the pixels, which fixes it everywhere.
- Does rotating by a custom angle lose quality?
- Slightly. Any angle that is not a multiple of 90 degrees requires resampling, which softens fine detail a little and adds transparent or filled corners. Multiples of 90 degrees are lossless.
- What fills the corners after an angled rotation?
- The canvas is enlarged to contain the whole rotated image, and the newly exposed corners are left transparent for formats that support it, or filled for formats that do not. Crop afterwards if you want a clean rectangle.
